Deng had used a decade of stall caused by the Cultural Revolution to conceive a new China and the belief that leading the Chinese next decades. In the few years after the Cultural Revolution, he had made others believe what he believed then become the supreme leader.

I have reframed my cognition of Culture Revolution and Mao's class struggle, which I early regard as meaninglessness waged by a madman. By eliminating capitalists and landlords then remaining the poor, it's yet another way, different from reform, for idealists to achieve socialism.
