This is ridiculous. The timing is all wrong. It has only been a day or three since she saw the body, and part of that was the weekend. So there has been no time for it to impact her classes due to lack of sleep or the memories. Too much is being made of this so far which makes it a weak plot device.

Yep, it's official. I hate this MC. She is jumpy, nervous, neurotic, paranoid, illogical, and completely TSTL. And all of those traits are making this a very uncomfortable read.

Not to mention, with an iPhone, there is every chance that the picture was already uploaded to the Cloud and she could log into her account to get the picture. Unless that feature had never been set up, but most people do use it.

And this panic is silly. She had an iPhone, you can remote wipe them if they are stolen. Can't tell you how many times I see this issue with authors. Do none of them know about the "Find My Phone" feature and remote wipe?
