You know these books that are somehow written so you spend the entire time you are reading waiting for some disaster to happen...for the other shoe to drop? Because for some reason, be it heavy-handed foreshadowing or something else, you know it's coming and the MC is completely clueless - is, in fact, doing everything in her power to make it happen without knowing. *sigh*

I swear, if one more MC starts babbling about "I need space to figure out" something, I'm gonna scream. What the hell do they think they are going to figure out just muddling around on their own? Especially when there are people right beside them trying to HELP them figure things out. (Sometimes who actually already have the answers!) Grrr
