I kind of feel like I'm going crazy: no other reviewers have mentioned this, but there've been at least three points so far when it seems like there's a page missing, when the action jumps from one situation to another with no textual transition or even a chapter break. The page numbers don't skip, but I genuinely feel like the publisher accidentally dropped pages or at least paragraphs from the book when printing.
