There's a time discrepancy issue where the sun is coming up and she only has an hour before the school bus comes, but twp pages later Sabine looks at the clock and it's only 1:45am.

Sort of reminds me of 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe'. Definitely liking it so far!
