Grace slept in class and when she woke up she found another Craine on the shelf next to her.

Grace is starting to avoid everyone to stay focused on her treasure hunt. Im starting to feel bad for her grandma because Grace is being mean to her and her grandma is trying to be nice.

Grace is starting to think her grandma is not as evil as she thinks.

Grace was having a hard time with her self portrait because all she could think of was writing. after she wrote something she was able to start drawing but without using her brain. When it was lunch time she walked outside and was sitting by herself and pulled out the bird. Her friend came over and started talking to her about her grandma and the park she made.

Grace Meet some friends and is going to all her classes and getting greeted. She walks into art class and was given a book that had all the details about the kids in the grade. Then she was given a book about self portraits so she can catch up in art and start to work on her end of the year project.

Grace watched as the Greene's left. Then the next day Graces grandma came in to talk to her and is making grace to help her out around the house, and also gives her her moms tool box and inside were parts tools and the start to a metal crane.

grace was talking with her friend Lacey and, how they missed each other and were hoping that laces mom would take her back home. But when mrs.Greene came back to the shed to talk to her she found out that Grace was lying and is not letting Grace talk to Lacey during the week but only on Saturdays and that they would not come and visit for a few months.

The main character is waiting for her "second mother" just a close friend. she is hoping that she will feel bad for her and take her home with her, so she won't have to live with her grandma. She sneaked into the the house to look at her moms old room when she saw two kids out the window with the horse she saw on her way in.

In the book "The secret hum of a daisy" this young girl has to go live with her grandma because everyone else in her family died.
