This whole series is very well written. Most reviews are as positive as mine and that of Ingrid. Add the culturally historic facts of relationships in late 19th Century, plus revelations on the country of New Zealand and its progress fro Agriculture to Modernization/ machinery - and the novels are difficult to put aside for anything!
