I think I was distracted while trying to read this novel. I’ll try giving it another chance.

I also don’t like how the characters in this novel jump to conclusions, rather than seeking out the source. It’s frustrating. Like “please check your attitude, think this through, talk and more importantly listen to the whole story.” So much drama would have been avoided, but maybe that’s the hook of this novel. If so, poorly delivered.

All of these different plans and schemes are very confusing.

The ending certainly picked up, but this seems the weakest of the series.

When Victoria mentioned visiting Pembroke, I thought maybe we were going to connect to the last books characters; I believe Henry Montgomery lived here. Nothing...yet

The plot line is slightly confusing too. Victoria has a plan in mind, then her sister with Cav but now it’s Cav with Wilt. Confusing
