Well, I sure as hell hope these reactions are being caused by something supernatural. Because if not, then the author has not written a remotely believable scene here. It is jumping all over the place, and they keep saying things that haven't been supported yet.

Uh, more continuity issues. Nothing more had been said other than he had been married. So clearly something was removed from the finished novel that is no longer here. (There have been a bunch of these sorts of small continuity mistakes)

This is a really stupid comment. Unfortunately, there are still far too many of those :( "I didn't even know that there was a single town still in existence that openly rejected homosexuality."

Don't understand why they would bring Ria with them. You'd think they'd keep her home, both for Drea's sake, and because she doesn't know what the hell she is doing!

Umm...sex with no protection = mess. Yet she is just gonna hop up out of bed, throw on a nightshirt and shorts, and run down to the kitchen? Not even a little bit of cleanup? Yuck!

Maybe if you were not such a fucking idiot and listened to anyone else, like, EVER you wouldn't be in this mess. Instead you just drift from mess to mess, panicking and whinging and waffling, and absolutely refusing to think. SO. DAMN. ANNOYING! And clearly, most of it is done by the author in an attempt to make it 'funny'. It's not.

God, Ria is an idiot. She barely has two thoughts to rub together.

Um... why the sudden shift to present tense? The whole book has been past tense thus far. And this switch occurred in the middle of a page.

Ugh, what a horrible way to introduce a flashback!
