Gods make the best scapegoats. Taking the lesser of two evils may land you in the middle of the greater evil anyway. Bad things happen when you fall asleep. Never open a bag of wind just before arriving home. Never eat another man's, or god's, hecatomb. Glory isn't all that great when you are dead.
