Never before have I ever despised characters in a book more than I despise James and Julia. How they expect to raise children with morals when they so clearly don’t have any themselves is beyond me. In one sentence they are clearly planning out the clinical ways to murder a baby then in the next they’re talking about growing olives and tomatoes. It makes me sick to think that people like this actually are alive.
