Sedgwick likes long sentences, which occasionally doesn't help legibility, but on the other hand, this makes the book feel less like a simple, unreflected recollection of random events.
He does a good job providing context about the acid culture in the 60s. I was quite content reading that without even thinking about Pink Floyd. Which is to say: I didn't expect this to be bad, but it starts of quite good, actually.
