Slow and deliberate. This is not my usual reading style.

This hardly feels like the same book I read (and loved) last year. I even forgot that I read (and loved) it last year. I'm a little further on the contemplative path this time around, and different things are speaking to me. I find myself needing to use the Lectio method with this book; last time around, I'm pretty sure I just chugged it.

Personal realization: the sacraments are not an event in which we receive something we did not already possess; they are an opportunity to recognize, name, and celebrate what we have already been given.
