Things You Can Buy for a Penny - Very nice story, with a simple twist. It was quite predictable but nevertheless nice to read.

"In the House of Aryaman, A Lonely Signal Burns" - A dystopic crime story. Usually not the type of story I would read (I'm quite sure I frowned when I sensed the unnecesary background complexity and vocabulary) but I must admit it was very good - and perfect for a short novella like this one. I'll keep an eye on author Elizabeth Bear.

Cerile and the journeyer - A fairy tale, nice to read but quite unsurprising.

And the Winners Will Be Swept Out to Sea.
This one was quite sensual, the idea was interesting, but I did not get into it as I did into the previous one.

The girl who ate butterflies.
This was a very nice fantasy story, very sensual, very well developed. Looking forward reading more by Mary Rickert.

Veil of ignorance
It always annoy me a bit when authors use a futuristic/alien/whatever background just for the sake of fitting in an sci-fi category, when you story would have done perfectly without that... and still be sci-fi.
This story about a mind-sharing drug would have worked in any setup, and be just as amusing.

Buffalo.
Quite simple story, and not the kind of theme I would have expected to find in this magazine.
Not bad but I did not love it either.

And You Shall Know Her by the Trail of Dead
A bit confusing but overall good story.
I just don't get why you have to swear that much to be a badass. Aren't actions supposed to say more than your words?
