This book needs a good editor! On Page 42, Charlie slips his key into the front door lock, but then on Page 44, Charlie slips the key in the front door lock after they are in the back of the house.

As they are touring the house, Charlie tells Maureen that she has time to see one more thing before her meeting with the attorney. Maureen is startled that Charlie knows about her meeting with the attorney. Really? He just told her he knew about the meeting when he first met her. And this is is just in the first chapter!
