I've actually finished this book except for the chapter on "The World of Apu" which I'll read after re-seeing that film this upcoming Sunday. I've seen the entire trilogy at least four times in my life, and consider them to be brilliant works of humanistic film art that have never been equally. These films changed my life; they could change yours as well. Heartbreaking, and not to miss.
