Let me first say that I adore Stoker and Speedwell and am a huge fan of Rayburn’s writing. But I AM FREAKING OUT because this plot is completely borrowed from So Long At The Fair!! I am only 1/3 of the way through but I can already see how the mystery is entirely copied, down to the smallest details. Why would such a talented writer feel the need to do this is baffling. I’m so bummed.
