Rlmteacher marcus Hi Rena,

If you like World War 11 books you might enjoy the movie, Inglorious Bastards, but I worn you it is quite bloody. I also loved the book by Leon Uris' Mila 18. Enjoy the holidays.

Richard L. Marcus

Rena Jane I want to see Inglorious Basterds, and I have read and really enjoyed Mila 18. In fact, all of Leon Uris, I enjoyed. He really knew how to tell a story and weave his characters well through a plot.

Rena Jane Love has written a sensitive, riveting novel around the Siege of Leningrad. Even the opportunist Petya seems vulnerable and human in this excellent fictionalization of this difficult period of Russian history. He has strong, believable characters, with good historical research and reality, as well as hopefulness for their future.
