"Celia's hero worship of me might be tedious, but it gave me a strong hold on her and on Harry through her." Gah! This girl!

Sleeping with your brother is gross, but the way she rationalizes it makes me laugh.

The deceiving, unreliable old gods of the land had set the magic at work and all I could do was to follow blindly wherever they were leading me." Ah, Beatrice, you devil, nothing is your fault. I can't hate you when we are so similar.

Her mother was right. Now that Harry is master she's doing whatever it takes to be first in his heart.

Beatrice is amazingly amoral and this is fast becoming one of my favorite books.
