THE FISHERMAN AND HIS WIFE
A wife ungrateful and greedy beyond compare. This story reminded me a lot of today’s need for instant gratification. People always want things now, and wish to hold out for better options to arise. 4/5
THE TOM-TIT AND THE BEAR
I’m seeing a pattern of animals and royalty. This story, if read alone, might have been special. But reading them back to back, I found myself bored. 2/5

THE GOLDEN BIRD
This story had a good length to it and I rather enjoyed the wise fox leading the fold. I wonder what message other people took from The Golden Bird. To me it was a story of greed and naivety, but also one of eventual prevail. 5/5

HANS IN LUCK:
A tale of a man that repetitively trades his sole possession for what he deems better until he’s left with nothing at all. Interesting start. 3/5
THE TRAVELING MUSICIANS
The unlikely group comprised of a donkey, dog, cat, and rooster are all aged and tired. Before their owners put them down, they take off together in search of a new home. They’re a brave bunch, that is for certain. 3/5
