Elyn’s Reviews > Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell > Status Update

finally, sidhe!

so how is norrell differen from the other theoretical magicians?

this is like some street magicians fight who have no clue about the real magic

faery world, lets see how good that turns out

at least some action

politics. set the outcome ahead of the facts

no clue if it really was norrell and he not only claims so and they go with it?

speaking statues spilling truths you could research. great proof.

so, there´s someone who claims he can still do magic, albeit no one has done so for centuries... and these scholars just take his word for granted?
and what´s with these faeries?

certainly reads like old classic, for something written this century
