I love diary format and this book was really easy to read as I could dip in and out of it whilst I read a couple of other books as well. As each chapter has headings with the dates and where they were at the time, it's so easy to follow when you go back to it.

It's easy to read and very enjoyable. Kayaks make me think of canoes and an activity centre school trip near us. A trip which my sister loved, telling of the capsising exercise. I was horrified and when I was of age to go-I made sure I was 'ill'. But I love to read about others' adventures and marvel at their achievements.
