Easy reading, problem is that it's a 'bedtime book' and I'm falling asleep within a few pages. Written in 1983, it imagines a 1964 world in which Germany won the war and Hitler lived. Unlike 'Man in the High Tower' the USA still exists. The 760 page number is misleading, as this is the page count for both books 'Fatherland' and 'Enigma' under the same binding.

Actually Page 372 is the end of the 'Fatherland' section of the 2-book combination. Good stuff. No happy ending. Which I like.

Closing in on the climax. Been an interesting, easy-to-read, want-to-read, history-based story about an alternative scenario in which Hitler lived and Germany 'won' the war. (Remember the page count of 760 is the page count of the two books.)

Easy reading, don't ever want to stop. Interesting reading about a Russia and Europe controlled by National Socialists, aka: Nazis. Oh? You didn't know that Hitler lead a party, a government with the title of 'National Socialists?' Yup. Adolph was not right-wing, he was a left-winger wanting to control every part of every citizen's life, making sure he or she complied with proper living.
