The library took it back before I could finish it. He said his goal was to turn a religious person into an atheist (I'm paraphrasing, but it wasn't that far off). I do not suspect many Christian friends would appreciate me reading this which is, he argues, part of his problem with religion. Dan Dennett made similar arguments in Breaking the Spell, although he was more fascinated with how religions have evolved.
