Hal picked Cassie up and took her to the Dahlia Hotel to shoot the video. When Cassie got nervous he told her that this is his office because of all the traveling his boss leases hotel suites so he and hes guests are comfortable. Cassie gave her $60 yearbook money to Hal for a deposit for the portfolio pics. When they meet up on Tuesday she will give him $200 more.

When Cassie gets home she calls Estela and lies about why she wasn't in school. Estela told her that sectionals auditions were tomorrow and Julia's talking about beating her out. Cassie got worried because she has to meet with Hal at the same time. After doing all the homework it was after 1 am and Cassie remember she need to write a not for skipping and faking her moms signature was strange.

Harold King a talent scout from L.A. over heard Cassie on the phone. He said he was from Star1 one of the largest talent companies. He offered her an audition and a ride to work so she didn't get fired. After a second to think she made up her mind and schedule an audition so she didn't have to miss anymore school and got a ride to work.

while talking to Olivia a girl from West High School the time went fast. it was now 4:15 and Cassie boss calls her, she is 15 mins late for her shift. When she can't get out of working he tells her to get to work or your fired.

The day of the try outs Cassie had to skip school. her parents didn't think that singing would be a realistic way to earn a living so she couldn't tell them. 3hours and 3 buses later she finally made it to the theater and the crowd was huge plus she was number 847 in line.

Cassie dad just got cut to Part time work and her mom is a home-health aide. Cassie works for Taco Shack. Estela and Domingo want Cassie to try out for America's Next Star because her voice is wonderful. She decides to do the try outs on Thursday, but not tell anyone in case she bombs it.

Cassie just nailed her solo in her glee spring concert. She is wondering if her long time neighbor Domingo and good friend might be more than neighbors.
