I'm super poor right now, so I haven't been reviewing a lot of books. I just finished one of my favorite fanfics for the 8th time, though, so I thought I'd signal boost that. It's a Life is Strange fanfic, and it does require a fair amount of knowledge of the game's characters and story. https://archiveofourown.org/works/568... This is a very angsty story with a heavy tone, and you should be sure to check out the tags before reading because some of it could be triggering. The author writes emotion as well as anyone I've read, though, and the growth of the relationship between the two characters (Max and Victoria) felt completely organic. The quality of writing is just absurdly high.

Nice. I'll have to give this a try. I haven't played the game but I've seen a play-through of it along with the prequel. It's a tough story but great characters. By the way, I have a "lendable" shelf I try to keep up to date if there are any books you'd like to borrow. I'm happy to share.
