The zero tolerance policy separating refugee kids from their parents to without any regard for their welfare or plan to reunite them is all over the news. I’m trying to read this book but the descriptions of innocent people trying to better their lives in a place that advertises safety and security only to be de facto prisoners who face oppression & trauma...I can’t continue right now, as good as this book is.
