I recently recommended this to a young friend and realized I hadn't read it in many years, so picked it up again. I'm so glad I did! It's such an excellent book on so many levels. Great mystery, wonderful characterizations, and I love the insight into being an intelligent, strong woman in Victorian England. So good. :)
