Paragraphs really need to be indented to make this reader-friendly. The writing is very flat... sentence after sentence beginning with He or She. Chance reads a bit like a girl... all gushy and emotional and I can’t believe that he is still agonising over Chloe even though she died when he was 18 and he is now 36. Nothing rings true somehow.
