Though I believe it's quite possible that Richard ordered his nephews to be murdered, his courage going after Henry in the middle of the battle has to be admired. Certainly he knew it was suicide if he didn't succeed.

Book is very pro Richard. It kind of glosses over how Edward V came to be in Richard's custody. Based on other readings I don't believe it happened quite as amicably as the book describes.
