So far, meh. There is a Lady who wants to sponsor Miranda and find her a wealthy and titled husband so she can also benefit financially. Miranda and her sisters are close to destitute after their parents were killed. She has a history with the hero who's best friend and business partner of the hero of the last book (which I liked). I liked Alex enough from the previous book to keep reading but I have my doubts.
