It doesn't feel dated to me, even though it was written in 1978. I'm enjoying how the mystery is coming together, and glad I don't remember anything at all about the plot, since I last read this over 30 years ago.

I haven't read this since I was in like grade four or five. I barely remember any of it, but reading it now is still like wrapping up in a familiar blanket, visiting with old friends.
I'm barely into it at all, but it's as good as I remember it, and now that I'm an adult who does a little writing myself, I can appreciate the prose and plot even more than I did when I was a kid.
