This was surprisingly good. I loved the slow roll out of events which shape the main character. Lots of side players making this feel like a drawing room cosy mystery involving the smuggling of antiquities. I enjoyed sorting through the possible suspects and was fully engaged with the dramatic final scenes. I had forgotten how much I enjoy Christina Dodd.
Will definitely look for the next book in the series.
