Very lovely reading, especially as an add-on to something more serious you're reading. I like to switch between something hard --"Song of Solomon" right now--and something easy like this. It being broken up into little 4-8 page anecdotes makes this even easier. If you like reading about the hustle and bustle of top notch kitchens and the chefs who work there, this is nice read.
