This is not taboo because it’s not normal, this is taboo because it’s a horrible thing to do, not just in the eyes of society, but overall.

Wavy hasn’t felt a lot of love or connection in her lifetime and the first one she received was with him. She trusted him and he betrayed her without her realizing. To think that the author probably went through something similar and then wrote a book with a somewhat positive look on the relationship... it shows that the effects do last longer because she clearly doesn’t realize THIS IS NOT OKAY.

So I read an interview with the author, and those she said it’s not an autobiography, this is somewhat a story of her life. She was in a relationship with someone “you wouldn’t want your thirty-year-old daughter dating” when she was thirteen and had a habit of dating older men. She also has “fond memories” of that relationship...so yeah.. I feel bad. Kellen took advantage of Wavy though he didn’t realize.

This book makes me anxious. I want to stop reading it because Kellen is so wrong. He basically raised her...now he’s gonna do stuff with her? She’s a kid and this is so disgusting. I just wanna know how Donal ends up and how they found out that his father was Liam’s brother. I kind of skipped around, which helped calm me a tiny bit because I know Kellen goes to jail.
