So far, so good. There are a few things here-and-there that happen in the book that were removed or altered in the anime that give more depth to the cast of side-characters, namely Dust, Chomusuke, and Yunyun. Some of the changes are understandable, though.

That aside, most differences between the book and anime so far are pretty minor.
