My first take on this author is "batshit crazy". At least after that first essay.
She is sooooooooooo Freudian, it's hard to get past ideas like that men being able to pee anywhere has led to a disassociation of sex and emotion and this is why gay men have sex in bathrooms. That's not even out of context! There's some crazy stuff here!
