I am finished the first book of the trilogy, Things Fall Apart. It was fascinating to read of culture foreign to my own, relayed by someone descended from it. The story was masterfully crafted in allowing space to learn and to find empathy for the protagonist and his ways before relaying the heart-breaking tale of how they shattered.
