Definitely getting into the meaner part of the book. In hindsight it's obvious the working environment was not a great place to be, even if you can't argue with the results. I can't believe I missed out on this huge part of gaming history even though I lived through it

The book has really kicked into gear. It's weird to say as someone who has been playing games for most of his life, but this is the first time I've understood why Doom was a big deal. I know if was popular and industry changing, but I missed out on the cultural phenomenon of it.
