I don't understand what makes Dan and Ella's relationship work. To me it doesn't. His daughter is rude, disrespectful, and mouthy, and there are never any consequences to her outbursts. Dan, while in a tough spot, could be handling the situation so much better. He's closed off and expects too much of Ella, forgetting that she is only his girlfriend and has zero experience with kids. I feel terrible for her.
