I feel like I'm "renewed" to MY OWN reader's voice gals!! I had not read for soooo long and had just been listening to audiobooks, I'd forgotten how satisfying one can make a romance by just listening to your own sound!! So far I've been in Maui for 8 days (7 to go ;) and read (finished Finally) Connie Brockway's "The Other Guy's Bride" and Kate Poole's Anchor and Storm (3-some with a premise surprisingly good). Reading Toni Blake's "Whispering Falls" right now. Think I'll read ... "Lover Mine" next ... NO REALLY!! LOL! Gotta finally get past page 62!! Haha! Good to hear from you all. Always peeking in to see how you are! AWESOME as always!! :)
Ohh The Other Guy's Bride is in my TBR. Must read soon. Was it as good as As You Desire, K?15 days?? ***greener***
It wasn't as good as AYD (that is one of my favorites of all time! Sd funny/sexy/romantic/unique in setting at the time), but it did the original justice! Really enjoyed it, and had all the good earmarks of CB's great historicals. Well worth the read!K.
