The first few paragraphs felt too fast-paced, but when the story found a rhythm, it was all good. The transitions from home to school, and vice versa, were a bit jarring, but I was too into the story to care. I wondered why Katie was being so hostile to someone she didn't know. It felt a little unprecedented at first, but her reaction to Tristan's accident was VERY believable. I could see all of it. Awesome start.

I was REALLY jarred out of this chapter from the reveal of Katie's dad's true colors. I also feel like some of the info shared would have been REALLY nice to know earlier on, for the sake of building up to this explosion.
"OMG" should've been replaced with "oh my god". Alli and Katie both do this, and it mixes up the voices in my head. Also caught a few syntax errors.
Enjoyed the bonding with Katie and Tristan.

Really enjoying the gradual journey into this "parallel world". Very interesting character development. I'm beginning to see Katie's alleged selfishness, and I'm really enjoying that Tristan is one of the few who doesn't give her what she wants, when she wants it. They're both very bullheaded and I like that. There's a few inconsistencies, but I'm saving that for my full review. Loved this chapter!
