Woo hitting all the end-of-book action!

This book is one where the writing style forces you to take your time with it which is partially why I make little progress each time I pick it up. Each book in the series has had such a different feel to them which is interesting. I'm enjoying getting in the head Iyana though and learning more about her powers.

Finally, I have some time to continue books I started before school started up again. I had to jump back ~40 pages to regain my bearings, but it’s high time I finish and review this one.

A little different than usual, but I found it!

So far I’m liking how this jumped right into the story since this takes place partially at the same time as the second book following the other half of the characters that we didn’t see much of in The Emerald Blade.
