.... meh!

This story is ridiculously predictable! Wow! The blonde nemesis that repeats the same statistical “you must be the murder” comment once already said in the story earlier on. Damn I really had hopes for this book! 🤦🏽‍♀️

On Chapter 7 & I’m surprised that’s Noreen even has her license. It should be revoked with the way Bates describes her driving skills! I’m also shocked the author chose to describe Missy so calmly in the car & talking about Tyler like Noreen wasn’t driving like a lunatic!

Honestly I’m confused as to why the authors focus is so much on Missy’s weight! What does her self image issues have to do with the mystery! It definitely ales away from the story! P.S this Tyler guy is super bipolar & amateur like with his police skills. Accusing the person who reported the crime that was still on scene... Umm okay 😒

Must admit I didn’t exactly like how the author chose to describe this book. “Can this BIG, beautiful woman catch the killer in time?” I find the word ‘BIG’ to be unnecessary. She could have used “witty, intelligent, or even determined” but BIG. Hopefully the author can make up for that untasteful description of the main character with the rest of the book.
