The artwork is very interesting, but the writing is really soupy and hard to follow... even though I'm already familiar with this story. Also, only a small portion of this book is Rashomon. I feel that this comic is only called that because Kurosawa's film is so well-known. However, this version doesn't make the story relevant to modern times the way Kurosawa did. Unfortunate.
