Mullets were never cool - not even when they were in fashion. Take it from someone who sported one in the 80's. Yes, I'm talking about me, who didn't think twice before asking my hairdresser to give me the feminine version of this "wonderful" hairstyle. I was TSTL back then! *hangs head in shame* And I'm not sure I've gotten any better over the years, LOL.
I'm fanatical about my colors matching, because I used to clash my clothes a lot growing up, and I had to wear hand me downs, and I had weird fashion sense. So, of course, I got made fun of a lot. Now, I'm sensitive about it.

Ahhh, the 80's....my daughter recently attended an 80s themed pep rally at her school. We did the big hair, shoulder pads and blue eye shadow. It was eerily familiar LOL! One of her teachers mentioned something about bad flashbacks=)
Dina, I wore a fem-mullet proudly in 1984. LOL. 8th grade. A lot girls had them. The cool thing was to perm the back, and leave the short part straight and 'feathered'.I may regret mentioning this later.
