So far it's actually kinda annoying. The kid is a manipulative brat with serious psychological issues and the parents don't know how to parent. The parts where the kid is narrating are just ridiculous and the parts where the mom is narrating only reinforces my opinion that she doesn't know how to parent and is partly to blame. Hopefully as this book progresses it'll explain why they're so dysfunctional.
