I'm debating reading the "In Death" series, but I have issues with manwhore heroes and with his ex-hookups showing up all over the place. Is it worth it, my people?

I flove Eve. The 1st 5 or 6 books show his manwhore past, then it's better. There is also 1 further book with his ex, but otherwise it's good. The books are brilliantly written, it's worth giving it a try 😎😊

I agree Kara. I've been holding off on starting for the same reasons. I just can't do it when the OW are rubbed in my face repeatedly. Shari and Alex, how "in your face" is the OW issue? That might help me decide.

Compared to the 'usual' OW-trope in modern romance it was still bearable. As Shari said, Roarke is 1000% devoted to Eve. One of the strongest couples in the fictional world.

Wow, thanks, Shari Kay! I appreciate the thoroughness - I have so many triggers when it comes to OW/manwhore Hs that it's nice to be forewarned!That trigger is...upsetting. Thanks for mentioning that as well. That's going to be tough to read about, but knowing about it in advance should help.
I'm still on the fence, but I have "Naked in Death" on reserve with my library, so we'll see how I feel when it's ready to be checked out.
