The first 40 pages of this book are very dull, but it started picking up afterward.

The prologue was intriguing. The first few chapters are mind-numbingly dull to the point that I can't even read this to put me to sleep because my mind wanders off thrice every sentence to more interesting matters like the changing diffusion rate of water out of paint into the air over time.
