If you like fantasy and apocalyptic stories, then check out Simone Pond's novels. The New Agenda series for the latter and Armor of Light series for fantasy. She has a couple I haven't read, but imagine they are just as fantastic.
I put my money where my mouth is. I purchased those I didn't have. Don't know how soon I will read them, but I now own them.
